I ordered mine in Northsky Blue and love the color. While they did away with Cajun Red tintcoat, they replaced it with Cherry Red tint coat which is similar. That was my second choice!

I read that LT & below models use hydraulic assit power steering and LTZ & High Country have Electric assist power steering.

Prolly won't notice from what I tow, but it does make me wish I had the electric assist.

I had thought of that. But, I already sold my 1500

Honestly, I have little doubt that it'll be a lot better.  But, I will keep ya posted.

It will be a night and day difference.  I don't miss my 1500 one bit.

My electric steering in my LTZ is my only complaint with this truck.

Hisssss, groan, lots of noise all the time.  Had it to two different dealers,  3 times.  They replaced a hose but the noise is considered "normal".  They showed me the TSB's, yadayada.  After the 3rd trip,  they let me sit in 4  different HD trucks and 3 of them made the exact same noise.   Maybe a fix is in the works but I dunno.  The steering does otherwise have a nice weight to it, and it's great for an HD truck so...

I put a tiny little flowmaster muffler on there and now I have a better noise to listen to, lol.

Happy now.

I have an LTZ as well and notice some noise at low speed. I suppose it could be described as a hiss. Don’t notice at speed; or when the stereo is on. Irritating but sounds as if it’s “normal”.

I’ve heard the ones that make a slight hiss. Mine is very noticeable and it groans and moans like it needs to be bled. Without the muffler I would have traded for another hd it was driving me nuts.

Thanx guys!

I went ahead and got the gasser. NorthSky Blue, with some really nice features for a Custom. Has the Safety Confidence Package that features the audio controls on the steering wheel along with forward collision alter, xm radio, on star, skid plates, I pretty much have everything my 1500 LT had except power and heated seats and dual climate zone. Well, a few other things too, like downhill assist and heated steering wheel, but, I really don't miss it. Still have remote start and gained Sirius XM.

So far, I love it! She is a real brute lol.....

Thank you sir. I sure will.

First impressions are its just so dam cool!

Big, strong, looks meaner than the 1500...

But, she does not ride as well, does not have a tight turn radius  like the 1500, isn't as peppy as the 1500, but the power is there.....its just gonna take a few miles to really wake her up and I also expect the ride quality and mpg to get better. Kinda went thru the same thing with my 2019 1500 when she was new. She had 10 miles when I bought her and this one had 18.

Time will tell. But, I do expect good things

Let that new truck break in, then give it some beans, it's powerful, not fast. Nearly 4 tons takes a lot to get moving, turing, or stoping. You'll be used to after a long day of driving....

Man, are you right.

I absolutely LOVE it!   Took her on a 4 hour round trip cruise today. And, honest to goodness, she drove as smooth as my 2019 ever did! No kiddin, I asked the wife and she thought so too. But, that's on new interstate highway. On our country highways, ya feel the bumps more but, its not real bad. At any rate, I can honestly say I do not miss my 1500.  And, I LOVED my 2019 Z71 when I had it. I think its just a real testimony to just how darn good the new generations of Silverado really are!  And, the power is definitely there. Your exactly right, takes a little bit to get her going and to stop. But, pulling Black Mountain was just awesome. She really has the steady horsepower and torque.  She steadily and easily held 65mph up the mountain..( what I mean to say is I barely had to get into her, much stronger than my 5.3 v8, it was fun lol )...just a super truck guys.  I am really glad we bought her.

Runnin boards will be here tomorrow.

I then want to put some Flowmaster dual exhaust on her. Has anyone else put a Flowmaster dual exhaust on theirs yet?

Just my opinion from years of GM truck ownership, don't do it.  The factory exhaust will literally last forever, aftermarket exhaust systems like Flowmaster will rust out prematurely and your stuck replacing them over and over and there is no performance gained.
