I recently had a new motor put in my 00 Silverado and before I had it put in everything was fine and the only alert I had was “service engine” which was for my O2 sensors in my exhaust, but after having the motor put in, I can’t go into 4wd anymore and the light isn’t showing up on the dash and also my gauge cluster keeps turning off mid drive as well as my radio. Both my radio and cluster restarts seconds after it stops working as well. Has anyone had this problem or does anyone know a fix to these problems? Thank you

I’d take it back to whoever replaced that motor. Likely broke a wiring harness or missed a ground connection.

sounds like a pinched wire, or untightened ground wire.  When you say new motor, do you mean out of the factory/crate motor, or do you mean a new to the truck motor, say out of another truck?
