Picked up some 550 paracord from wal-mart. You tube has some great tutorials on wrapping stuff.

Looks good, do you plan on doing the whole wheel? 

 

Before I swap the 03-07 wheel into my 99 I plan on getting it rewrapped in either leather or vinyl. Just haven't decided whether or not I wanna spend the $300 for leather lol

ive heard of a few steering wheel swaps. Since I work for a Chevy dealership, if a nice one comes along I might think about doing a swap too.

Started with 120 grit for now. I plan on painting it tomorrow because the weather will be nice.
