Does anyone know if there is a good location to install an aftermarket sensor for coolant temperature? It looks like it would be a standard 1/4 NPT, any unused plugs in the coolant system that a sensor could be installed into?

Engine?

Ha! Yeah that would help

6.2L

I was just looking at it, kinda think a brass 3 way manifold and a couple of barbed connectors could easily provide an attachment point inline with one of the small coolant lines on the coolant overflow tank. Maybe the one between the tank and the radiator? I dont know if that would be perfectly accurate to the coolant temp in circulation, but even if its close it would serve the purpose of letting me know when the engine is cold or if its too hot. Reasonable plan?

The stock sensor is actually right on the coolant pump right on the front of the engine. Easy to access. But i dont know if there are spare ports on the pump. I dont want to interfere with the stock sensor.
