Im into the big offshore boats. Nothing like five huge outboards hanging off the back of a 45 foot Cigarette or Donzi going 100 mph +.

When Volvo Penta acquired Seven Marine they stopped production of the 627 hp LS based outboard .

They are moving towards zero emissions by 2050 and that ended that. Sad. That was a badass motor. Supercharged 6.2 LS.

Now Mercury Marine has unleashed a 600 horse beast.

It's a V12 with tons of innovations. This motor sets the new bar for the rest.

Mercury fan for ever.

THANKS!

Same here.

I've had a few Mercs.

40 hp on a fishing boat.

150 hp on a ski/fish boat.

2-225 hp on a 25 ft center console Bpston Whaler.

That boat was a beast.

You could go out on Lake Superior in some 5-6 ft waves no problem. Caught tons of fish with that boat.

Even had a 1976 Sno Twister snowmobile back in the early 80s
