I own a 2017 Chevy 2500 high country. My truck is throwing a p0071 code. I have changed the ambient air sensor twice, checked all wiring for breaks or abrasion, and checked voltage at the sensor connection( was fine). When the check engine light is on the outside temp on the display reads correct. When I clear the code the temp drops to about 30 degrees and it takes a couple days for the check engine light to come back on. I have taken it to the dealership and they replaced the sensor, again, but the problem continues to come back a couple days later. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Was the sensor in the passenger mirror changed?  Or the sensor behind the grille.

L5P uses two.  The one in the passenger mirror feeds clean (no nearby heat from the engine) temperature feed to the ECM.  The one behind the grille feeds the instrument cluster.
