2004 silverado 1500 5.3L

whats the name on the metal pipe/bar from side of frame to crossmember underneath.

mine is rotted out.

The actual name I'm not sure but it's just a frame brace they only put on 2WD trucks.

 

The 2006 Sierra I owned years ago had them and those rotted out too, took them off and went on with my day. They are missing on nearly all the 2WD trucks up here in the salt belt. Half the time the bolts are rusted inside the frame too.
