43,000 miles.. pulling 6,000 # cruising at 63 MPH and getting 15 mpg.  Heard an awful rattling sound and pulled over.  Noice coming from the transmission.  No service lights.  Drive the truck to nearest dealer.  They checked for codes and there were none.  Dropped the pan and it was full of sparkles. They are replacing the transmission now.  I have seen only one other similar post.  The truck drove normally except with a new engine rpm wine and slow 8-9-10 shifts.  Bummer

Update: truck in the shop for three weeks now.  No eta for the remanufactured transmission. I’m considering a lemon law claim.

Operator watching or not, the computer was watching the temps -- and will act/warn as appropriate.

Reman, why is it not getting a brand new crate trans? Even past your og warranty you should still have coverage under the PT one unless they changed it again?

No new transmissions available so GM remanufactured, new parts + old case I was told. I’m picking it up tomorrow and driving 13 hours home,😳.

Tow haul active, trans temps normal before and after the failure.

I would demand an extended warranty on the trans, who rebuilt the trans, gm or some shop your dealer uses?
