Class action lawsuit

Received a letter today from a lawyer about the suit re; transmission, lighting and a host of other issues on 2016-19 Sierra and probably Silverado, though it doesn't mention it.

The letter goes on that we won't receive much comp from a class action suit. We all know that. He said he and his team are open to filing individual claims.  No out of pocket expense

even if they loose, they have the right to collect fees from GM. 

Anyone else get a letter??

i have a 2019 silverado with all the shudder an slip problems. I have not received a letter.  how can I get involved?

You'll get about $1.16... class action suits are worthless... don't expect a new truck.

Yes, I got one a few months back. Threw it right into the trash, where it belongs.

The letter I got was from a lawyer, not from GM.

I did too. Most of the unsolicited mail I get goes into the round file.

Just another lawyer trying to get money for THEM, sue sue sue that's all people worry about now a days. I have received letters like that in the past from other things and they go right in the trash. I didn't get one but it would go in the trash just like the other junk mail. Sometimes I will save the postage paid return envelopes on some of the junk mail that have a return envelope and once I get a bunch I put them in the mail empty nothing inside and send them back.

GM has had a few lawsuits on these trucks for the 8 speed transmissions. None have gotten any results as far as I'm aware of.

My husband had a wreck 2019 Silverado airbags didn’t deploy he hit his head so hard he had a stroke anyone know of a good lawyer or someone who independently investigates

i am sure where ever you are there is lawyers that could help you, but keep in mind that if the truck was modified in any way you will be fighting a loosing battle
