What is everyone seeing for pricing on 2024 Silverado 2500's when ordering? Nothing on the lot for the options I want. Spoke with two dealerships and both won't budge off MRSP. Curious if that is the norm or if its a Colorado thing.

I get GM pricing so its already set.

Back in the day we got 18% off an order and 15 off an in stock truck. Those days are long gone.

I get GM Supplier pricing. Was just wondering if there was wiggle room on the price like some of the GMC dealerships have been doing.

Yes a couple of them discount and a couple of them add 5/7k to msrp

I get GM employee pricing so price is set. Was about 11% off my particular truck.

Most dealers around me advertise some discounts off MSRP of varying amounts, but nothing close to employee pricing.

Ordered a 2024 GMC Sierra 2500HD AT4 today. 6.6L Gas, Sterling Metallic, AT4 Preferred Package, Snow Plow Prep/Camper Package, Gooseneck/5th Wheel Prep Package, 700 CCA Aux Battery.

I won’t be plowing or using the gooseneck/5th wheel hitch but figured for less $1000 now it will be easier to sell than a 2500HD without any options. Will add running boards and an ARE cap when it arrives.

Sales guy said it will take 4 months. We’ll see! Reason I ordered was so I can get through hunting season, most of winter and get what I want.

Have had a few older 2500 trucks in the past and mostly 1500 trucks since then. Do not need a 2500HD to tow my boat but like the lack of cylinder deactivation and stop/start.

Same here. 1500 would have fit my needs okay but I just couldn’t justify the half ton gimmicks and insane prices. All I saw were luxury trucks for a lot more than I paid for my base 2500. I don’t regret my decision at all. Been over a year now with it. I have the plow camper 5er pkgs too so it’s not a stripper model I guess.

Nice. I built 2023 and 2024 1500 AT4s with 6.2L and 6.5’ bed and it’s only $2k or so difference than the 2500HD AT4 I ordered and they have DFM and start/stop. Can always press the start/stop button every time you start the truck but can’t change the DFM, at least not conveniently.

Good Luck. I ordered my 2024 in early June and was told the same thing. I stopped in to see how things were going last month and Chevy had not even given an allocation yet.

That sux. Hopefully it goes through.

I talked to one of my cousins the other day who was an exec at GM about getting a friends and family discount. Then called the sales guy and they won’t honor it. My cousin told me she can make a phone call to push my order through. I’m going to take her up on that if it looks like it’s going to take forever.

Got back from vacation today to see a text from the dealer. my truck is officially in transit and scheduled to arrive in Tampa Florida on 10/28. Tentatively planning on picking it up the weekend of November 3rd. overall a great end to a great vacation with family and friends.

Never heard of a dealer not honoring gm discount. I've used it on all my new gm vehicles at various dealers.

Most in my area do. Then there’s the one in my area that does…but also tries to make up the difference by offering several thousand less on trade in value.

But I also live in Big 3 country. Ive read about dealers not taking gms especially in the past couple years but I don’t think dealers in this area could do that without losing a lot of customer base.
