Multiflex tailgate disable feature

I’ve got a 2024 Silverado 2500 Custom with multiflex tailgate.  Does anyone know if the disable/lockout feature for the upper tailgate is included in all builds?  Mine isn’t working and my local dealer was reluctant to try to repair because they weren’t sure if my truck was supposed to have that option.  I thought all trucks with that tailgate had that feature.  Mine even has the decal next to the tailgate.

I'm sure you already tried, but just to make sure, are you holding your key fob right next to the button when holding it for the 7 seconds?

I have not heard of any of those tailgates from 2022 and on not having the disable feature, and that sticker seems like confirmation you have the feature.

Mine needed a software update at the dealer (likely can be done over the air like normal too, not sure) until it worked for my 2022.

Mine didn't work at first, until I placed key fob right next to button.  Hold button until tail lights flash three times. Worked great!

I believe the lockout is only trucks with the keyless entry(buttons on the door handles). To my understanding it doesn't have the antenna in the rear that it would need detect the key.

      There's a new PI on 2023-2026 L3B shudder.  Possible faulty front oxygen sensor.   Dealer can pull up PIP6060A and give it a read.

      Also here's the drive cycle for a 2021 Yukon with V8.  DO NOT USE THE CRUISE CONTROL WHEN RUNNING DRIVE CYCLE!!!!!:   Warning: Road test a vehicle under safe conditions and while obeying all traffic laws. Do not attempt any maneuvers that could jeopardize vehicle control. Failure to adhere to these precautions could lead to serious personal injury and vehicle damage. Note: You have completed this procedure when all parameters display Complete. Short stops for traffic will not affect the procedure. Note: Do NOT use cruise control during this procedure.       About the only GM that compares well with its competitors through the small to midsize vehicles is the Trax. I would like nothing better to just drive GMs. My wife in a Cadillac me in a Chevy minivan and Colorado. Part of my day is comprised of reading and watching comparisons of automobile. I could buy a car today. I’m back to research the next.

      I had a similar problem years ago and it ended up being the positive battery cable that ran to the main fuse block/ECU. It looked fine but when I sliced it open it was badly corroded.
