Retirement truck is here

Big Red is here. Ordered 6/30/23 picked up 9/18/23  Built in Ottawa Canada. Ordered in Mishawaka In   She is real nice. My only regret was not getting leather $900, just for durability and ease of cleaning. Came from a 2015 Canyon.  It is a LT with a couple of packages, I had to have a rear slider to go with my topper I will put on. I wanted buckets seats as well. With supplier pricing $ 58,000. Better than buying used. They want way to much money for used trucks. Glad I got new. Didn’t cost much more   As my buddy said you never know what people do with these trucks.
PS GM chat is worthless. Always said the same thing

I keep saying this is the last new truck I will buy now that I am retired, but here I am with my 3rd new one since the retirement. Never say never 😎

Not a retirement truck but said I was done 4 trucks ago😂.......dealers kept buying them back for what I paid and discounting the new one

Downside is starting over everytime, my first one would be just about paid off by now

Yeah it's amazing to see used truck prices go up. Pretty sure before I get another one, I'm going to have to buy my wife a SUV. Hopefully the truck will be paid off within a year and then it will be time to think SUV. Definitely can't afford 2 car payments.
