Changed Battery in FOB. Tried to reprogram, did not work. Checked all fuses, good. Manual locks all doors work. Elec windows work. Just the remote is bad. I am thinking it may be the Remote receiver. Does anyone know the location of the receiver module in this model truck. 2005 Silverado 4x4 crew cab. Thanks

There is a metal tab that makes contact with the battery and it can get bent causing intermittent or no response from the fob. I'd rule that out first. I had the issue after swapping the board over to a new key fob case.
