I work in insurance litigation, and small claims usually results in either being paid cause it costs them more to defend and send someone to appear, or they may just call and try to negotiate at like 50% to buy out some risk.

Crutchfield Tech was so kind to spend time with me, on '23-'24 Denali & AT4 Bose Dash Speaker Replacements. I shared pix of my dash, as they Do Not have any documentation yet, of the re-freshed GMC Denali/AT4 dash.

I already have the "A" Pillars with Tweeters off, these have 6.8 mfd. Caps on them as a crossover.

Should have the Kicker Tweeters here tomorrow (#46CST204). There are several good choices of Tweeter brands. I chose these with a Titanium Dome vs. a Cloth Type for more brightness.

I have the Pioneer 2.75" 2 way # TS-A709, (on backorder) that another posted had installed were excellent. It is said NOT to use the crossover that comes with them. Must be already one in line, so to double up, yes with mute the signal badly. Thanks for that tip !! (BTW, that person showed that 2.75" speaker, did have a Bose on the Magnet, where the Door Speaker I took out did NOT).

The Crutchfield Tech is giving the pix I took this am., to his staff, for an updated publication. While we spoke, I found out on my Denali, that the Dash is in fact, Two sections. From the windshield bottom, full width, the dash section from there, over the speaker grills, including the heads up display and defroster vents) is one section molded plastic, to the front half of the dash cover.

I gently pulled up on the underside of the driver edge speaker grill (as the "A" Pillars are removed), and it popped right up easily. As my Pioneer's are not here yet, pressed it back in place.

And Yes.....I too had an AM radio taped under my Banana Seat Stingray bike with 5 speed stick shift. Wow I am getting old....

GM  "A" Pillar Tweeter Pic.  I measured 1-11/16" dia. in the cavity the tweeter snaps into. Do even a 1" Kenwood or others should fit.

Hate "Reverse Engineering" what should have been a Great Product Option  in the first place.

Do you think the 1” Kicker will fit? Do you have any pics of the Kicker you have installed?
