I forget what trim level you have.  Are those the power mirrors?  If so, set them to fold automatically on lock in the infotainment system.  That's super handy.

LT with power folding mirrors. Completely forgot that was an option. Thanks for the reminder!

I second that "great advice" and will be checking that option in my 2023 LTZ first thing tomorrow morning.

Good thing he was right there when it happened as most people today would just pull away an take the chance on nobody seeing it.

Thanks for the tips!

The guy that hit me admitted he would have just driven off. Didn't think it was "that bad."

Quick update: I called my stealership parts department this morning. Had them send me the invoice with part # and price. $809.98 for the whole mirror. Online gm parts stores are $480ish.

I called the guy to let him know. No answer. 15 minutes later he called back and we chatted. Told him the cost of the mirror and he couldn't believe it. So, I sent him the invoice and part # and told him so long as it's oem and the same part number, I don't care where you get it! He said great and asked if he could get this figured out the first of the year after Christmas. I said absolutely and Merry Christmas brother. 🎅

🤞 he ponies up!

See my custom model over the poverty model has bling...you've seen my dash display....total bling.  You've seen the big ass wheels I have....total bling...and let's not talk about my suspension....that doesn't need EBT cards or bricks to keep it afloat.  So go ahead and brag on your chosen power folding mirrors provided by you....I've got your number young man...

My trucks seats are no ordinary fabric. They are tufted from king kongs chest hair. Very manly vehicle. Only the PE model has this.
also with rubber floors, no issues with proper dirty work boots. Carpeted floors are great to coddle high heels lmao

My truck is a Z-66. That’s like a couple of Z-28s with some to spare. So it’s twice as fast. It’s old and aged like fine wine, just like its driver. 🤠

Z71 here. That’s 5 levels of Z better than yours. Sorry for your loss sir.

had mirror on 2019 wiped out in first week on RST, was like $800 replaced at dealer

had power folding on new 2500 and also not had them, it is pretty sweet to have as they do sick out a bit.....I never thought mirrors would be such a big deal but turns out it kinda is where I live

had 2500 lbs of 6x14 beams  in mine last week cpl of times and really glad I had a 3/4 ton, definetly squatted and noticeable driving....

on longer trips empty 400-600lbs is the sweetspot for comfort

So the sweet spot is just one feed corn fed midwestern gal! Good to know.

around town there way nearly no difference in miles per gallon when I had 1,400lbs in the bed. 12.2 vs 12.1 the same route

You get a less husky cornfed gal with a water bed in the back of the truck. Bingo bango
