Winter Front

Hello,

 

Does anyone know of a quality winter front for these trucks? I don't want to drill or modify the truck in any way. The ones I found online either require that or they have you glue buttons on the grill as attachment points. 

 

My 03 chevy had a factory winter front that used felt hooks and that held it on. No modification was needed.

I'll bite. What is a winter front? You talking the curtain that block airflow to the radiator for warmer heat up?

If you need something immediately, cardboard ziptied to the grill will get you by.  However, I'm in the south and I have RARELY driven in conditions that required it, so I'm sure other people will have better answers.

Does it have the factory louvers in the front of the radiator?

Yes.

 

They didn't do a whole heck of a lot when we had -30 out the other week.

My 22 HD came with the winter cover. Currently have it installed. Very easy to install. Has short straps with plastic hooks on them that go throught the grill and hook over the back side. I'm assuming that this is a GM part as it has the bowtie embossed in the middle of it.

I have yet to see one for a half ton.

Yeah I saw those. The stick on button is kind of janky. Appreciate it though
