Thunderstorm Gray 1500?

[2016 Sierra Owner]

I recently was looking to purchase a Thunderstorm Gray 1500. I've seen websites stating the color is available and saw a few pictures of the trucks online. However I could not find any around the GA area even with a search of 500 miles. Plus when you go to the GMC site and try to build one. The color is not listed to be picked. Is it on constraint or something else?

I^{'ve seen a few around Tulsa at dealerships, mostly elevation models, couple AT4X's}

Seen several Sierras in this color at my local dealer. Haven't seen a Silverado in this color in person yet, but I haven't been through the lot where I bought my truck in a month or more.

I see it as a color choice on all trims of the Sierra 1500 builder....

paint code is GNO. Shows it for the 2024 Sierra. Does not show it for the Silverado.

It is called Slate Gray Metallic on the Silverado.

Here is what it shows me for color choices. 7 colors. 24 Sierra SLT. It must only be the Elevation and AT4 that gets it. I went back and selected thosetrims and it's listed there.

The trims I saw the GMCs in that color was Elevation, AT4 and Denali. I didn't stop at the dealer I got my truck at today but driving by it did look like they had a few Silverados in the same color. It's just a lighter color of the steel gray they have already had.

Thunderstorm Gray = Slate Gray on Silverado.  Same RPO code GNO and same paint code 633D.  Looks like a gloss primer type gray but when you get up to it the metal flake shows a lot.

That color has to be the most ugliest color I've ever seen it reminds me of a primer gray that people use to prime there vehicles back in the 70s and 80 and drive around.

Nah its awesome in person.  Looks best on the full body color trucks like an RST, Elevation, AT4, etc.  Lighting changes it a lot too makes it almost a blueish tint in lower lighting.
