I had the drivers side replaced under warranty, and now the passenger side is having the same problem. 2018 LTZ with OEM LED's.

They are incredibly expensive, so was wondering if anyone has been able to find a fix that last to get rid/not let in the moisture. When I spoke with a counter parts person at the local GMC dealership, he said it was a very common problem with most times the light just stops working. I know there are cheaper alternatives, but are they any better quality than the OEM version?

Bummer. Usually some good videos on most issues.

I have the standard (incandescent) bulb taillights and haven't noticed any issues with them. I did have the infamous third brake light/cargo light leak but a new gasket fixed that. I wonder if there is some kind of difference with the LED taillights that might be the cause.

I had a friend with the infamous third brake light seal issue on his 2014.
Fortunately, I have yet to see it.
I've installed three different after market tail lights, none leaked, I only changed them out because I liked the next "thing" better.
Going on a year with my Alpharex LUXX tail lights with no issues.
All of them were only suited to non-LED factory tail lights unfortunately.
I did find these that are purported to be compatible with factory LEDs, however.
