Any help would be much appreciated. It’s an Android box that allows CarPlay and Android Auto, but I can’t get the Android Auto to work with my IPhone obviously, only the CarPlay. Here is the link to the box. https://a.co/d/7gbIiyA I’ve attached a picture too. I’ve contacted AuroraLink (the seller of your Android Ai box to find out any info on wether it is possible to change the projection method to use Android Auto instead of CarPlay (allows the use of full screen). They should get back to me in 48 hours, maybe a little more because of the holidays. When I find out more, I will let you know.

I’ve watched Don’s Life on YouTube showcase this item and he’s got it hooked up to an iPhone with CarPlay and he’s projecting full screen so I know it’s possible I just can’t figure it out. My truck is a 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 refreshed by the way.

Dec 31, 2024 12:22 AM Hello I am your exclusive after-sales service, and I will give you an answer to your question: The CarPlay channel is currently used, and the wired Apple CarPlay display area is the display area of our car box, and switching to the AA channel is not supported.

Can some one direct me to the link to install on the SD card to work. Thanks again Much easier way to do this. Instructions are below How to Get Full-Screen Apple CarPlay in Your GMC Sierra (Should Work on All Models) Purchase this device from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CX464S74... Unpair your iPhone from the truck. Plug the device into the center console USB-A port. It will connect through CarPlay using a wired connection and will initially display in half-screen mode. Accept the generic agreements for CarPlay. Connect to Wi-Fi (either your phone’s hotspot or another network). Go to settings and update the device. Once updated, connect your iPhone via Bluetooth. Using the supplied SIM tool, press the button inside the hole on the front of the device (located between the two status lights). Hold and release after 2 seconds. A pop-up will appear on the screen asking if you want to switch to Android Auto mode. Select “Yes.” The device will reboot. You should now be in full-screen Android Auto mode. You can stop here if you prefer Android Auto, which is quite good as it supports video apps like Netflix and YouTube. You can set up your phone to automatically turn on the hotspot every time you connect to the device, ensuring seamless tethering when you get into the car. Continue for CarPlay setup. Go into settings, click “Other,” then click “Boot Up App.” Set it to Autokit (wireless CarPlay). Done! Now, when you get into the car, it will automatically start up Android Auto, followed by the wireless CarPlay app. This process takes about 7 seconds with no intervention from you. Performance is excellent even though it is wireless. Enjoy! Binize Carplay Ai Box Android Auto Ai Box Wireless CarPlay Android Auto with Video APPS 4G+64GB,8Core, Android 13,Only Support Car with OEM Wired CarPlay/Android Auto Just in case the link stops. You need a AI Box that can output as Android Auto. That's it.

I think it took 2-3 tries, but it finally connected and works flawlessly.
Hammy2500 Posted February 15, 2025 Posted February 15, 2025 Does this work for all boxes? I tried it on my magic box but didn’t work.

Velocity12 Posted February 25, 2025 Posted February 25, 2025 (edited) I bought the box Todd suggested and was able to get it to work full screen. Mine won’t start automatically though. I have to unplug and plug the box in every time I start the truck. Not terrible but it would be nice to get it to start automatically. When I start it it tries to connect a Pixel phone and on the GM display it asks me to accept something in the Pixel phone, of course there is no Pixel phone so I can’t accept it. So I hit cancel and then select the android device in the “phones” section of the screens menu and then it works. After a few minutes it will give me an error saying it won’t connect but I just select it again and then it works fine. This is my second box like this, I had the Stream to Your Car one at first. It started acting strange and would get really hot. This Binize one is much better I my opinion. It’s a little cheaper and Amazon has a $60 off coupon right now. Pete25 Posted March 6, 2025 Posted March 6, 2025 Quick update and issue. Got everything to connect and everything worked perfectly. Then today I started the truck and a pop up said can’t connect to android auto because date and time not in sync with the truck?? Now it’s a red brick sitting in my truck because no matter what I update automatically or manually with the date and time the same pop up keeps…popping up

I wonder if it will work in CarPlay mode instead of using the Android platform. I’ll try later.

Have you tried unplugging it, resetting it and trying again? Mine has not given me any problems at all.
