I've looked around on the interwebs for a list of the fault codes for my truck (and others of course), but can't seem to find a comprehensive list. Is that something that is available to the general public.

You won't ever find a vehicle specific code lookup, not on the internet at least.

Even with aftermarket tuners like HP Tuners that will code out the file to be edited, it will still show codes that don't even belong to that vehicle you are tuning. They are just a giant list of codes that GM uses and there will either be a check mark next to the code or showing what MIL error it takes to trip that code. Like a first error or second error for the SES to enable.

This website here is going to provide a giant list of general codes and what they will mean.

Thanks for that. It does include the code I'm seeing, which is P059F. I had it into the dealer once a year ago last Fall and they cycled the shutters and cleared the code. It came back once last Winter and cleared itself. It was on again this week and didn't seem to want to self correct, so I cleared it myself. But I do like to have a lookup for the codes. The shutters on my truck appear to be quite temperature sensitive, and won't always close as expected when it gets cold-ish outside.

Did you try googling this "2023 Silverado 1500 LT 5.3L P059F" ?

I did and found several valid hits.

Good Luck!
