Picked up the new truck today. I still have no idea when the 3500 LTZ I originally was going to buy will show up, and neither does my dealer. Salesman was able to dealer trade from my area (Buffalo, NY area) to a dealer in Delaware. HUGE SHOUT OUT TO UPSTATE CHEVROLET and Al Ficarella for pulling this off. So much appreciated! Now maybe I can sleep....

Not my cup of tea. I buy off the lot. If I can't find what I want, I wait till it shows up.

With the exception of one a 2001 Integra type r I never order. I put a deposit on the first 94 impala to arrive. I paid sticker on those. The rest I bought the best deal or CPO. I’m just not that picky. I rather save money.

I did not order a truck. The truck was dealer stock, delivered to the incorrect dealer, and shipped back to Flint. It is lost in their system. Sales end says delivered, shipping end says bayed. I spent almost a month and a half trying to track down and secure the same spec.

My 2024 was my 1st truck that I bought off the lot. I always bought regular cabs till now. Most that are on dealer lots aren't much better than what DoTs order...

I had to Google the dealer, I'm familiar w/ Basil in Depew. Friends dealt w/ them & if I was visiting, we might drop in to see what was on the lot.

The original dealer my truck was @ was 400 miles, from mine.

Well GM has been parking vehicles all over the place. Heck a couple of years ago they had a fairgrounds about half an hour east of the Oshawa Truck Plant filled during a parts shortage. It wasn't paved either...

Disappeared while it was out to be repaired?  Friends nephew was a body man in a Chevy dealers shop and did a lot of repairs on vehicles "damaged in transit'.

No, wondering if after it returned to Flint if someone was joy riding...that pic would probably explain the mud on delivery lol
