I started pulling 1 gallon/4 quarts out the tranny dipstick tube at 45,000 miles on my 2016.  Been doing that about every 15,000 miles since.  Every now and then I'll pull out an extra 10oz. of fluid, and add a bottle of LubeGard Red with the new fluid.  Almost 254,000 miles on the OEM unit, pan never dropped and filter/strainer never changed.  I tow a lot, and do a lot of highway miles also.
