WAZE

I basically use it for the different voices.  Venom was really good, stinks that it's no longer available. Golf Commentator is different and now I'm trying the Viking. Arnold Schwarzenegger was good as well but short lived.  Sam Kinison would have been good if he was still alive.

They could create his voice through AI if there was enough demand for it to be done

They seem ok to me.  Susan uses Apple maps, on our way back from Myrtle Beach Jeep Jam, she followed Apple and I used Waze and I turned out a mile ahead of her on the 4 lane we were getting to head home. She likes that Apple tells you to make a turn by announcing the traffic lights.

I tried Apple, but at the time they were being slow to update maps and their traffic was inaccurate. Now Google has a few issues too. I'd have to find what I last read about WAZE

I haven't used Waze but having celebrity voices announce directions sounds fun. Do they have one for Samuel Jackson? That's the one I'd pick.

The Waze app is busy, maybe too much info. I like the app on my iPhone. It gives you advanced lane change notifications quicker than Waze. If you’re an extreme speeder Waze seems better with its interaction with drivers.

No but if he was still alive, Bobcat Goldthwait would have been good.  Joe Pesci would be good as well.

What app are you referring to if not WAZE?

I have WAZE and what has been on my IPhone from the start. Since my iPhone 3. It’s been so long I guess it came with it.

Apple Maps, probably.

 

I like Apple more than Google Maps. I've been using Google a lot more since the truck's infotainment has it built in, and it's just not as intuitive, seems to run slower than Maps on Carplay.
