What’s your plans? I thought I was going to kick back. I married a woman who lives to host. Usually my son does the New Year and we bug out early. My son and his are going skiing so they opted out. We didn’t learn this until yesterday. My wife is so happy. Twenty and counting. At least there’s no drinking. Pizza and dip. I’m going to start a marbles tournament. I’m sure other games will be going. Then there’s the ugly gift exchange. Oh well, I’ll enjoy it in spite of my self.

Sounds like a good time.  Wife and I are planning a quiet night.  Maybe watch a movie.  Turn in early.  Hoping there aren't any fireworks or gun shots around midnight.  Freaks the horses out and we have to get up to babysit them.

Enjoy!  Happy New Year!

Haven't been to a new years party in many years and we're asleep before 12am. We just steam up some shrimp and make crab cakes watch a movie then go to bed but tonight it looks like we will be watching hotrod garage with a new episode at 9pm.

Happy New Years!

We are hanging out at the house with Kids and my parents are coming over. My mother in law is currently in town from MN visiting.  Pretty low key but will be fun as always.

Actually it’s a board game. I never played until I retired and started visiting my father in law. That was required and all they did for entertainment. Me and my wife were place holders. I was his partner and my wife was his wife’s partner. We just listened to their instructions.

Flu out right now.

Version of 1918 swine flu based on an immunologist who is a friend. He lives near you Stan. He works as horse rescue ranch veterinarian. Side note he’s a 2 tour combat marine, Vietnam. ( he hates MAGA too)

We’ll watch a movie and go to sleep after we try to walk up a mountain in front yard.

Going to party at 2 pm 1 Jan for old people, trans girl, and gay man neighbors. I added that granularity in the style of  Stan. MERIKA!!!

It will be a miracle if I'm still up at 10pm tonight. I don't get wild for NYE, never preferred that.

The best start to a New Year, IMO is a good night of sleep and waking with a clear mind.

@customboss Gay neighbors are the best. Hug your Trans friend. And give the old people a pat on the head for me.

Sounds like my family too.

God bless you and happy new year, we are staying home and playing board games with son and my old uncle, no booze, dope or sexual deviants.

Sorry that the morons try to f*ck up a cheery post but they have miserable shitty lives and try to project that onto others.

Cheers

Sounds boring AF.

Who mentioned anything about sexual deviants? Is someone sending leg pics again?

So are you going to get drunk and pass out? I couldn’t think of anything better than playing board games with my family.

No, that’s not my style. I’m likely to have a boring night too. By design. There’s nothing wrong with boring AF. Still curious how sexual deviants came up.

    • Still looks like a rivet to me in the pics, I don't see a nut and none of the pics show the head of the screw. But if you says so.....
    • Thanks for all the help so far!   I did try right from 2026 right down to 2021, and only from 2023 down lets me select the option for tire psi change, but I get the vehicle not supported error!   I'll definitely try it under Chevrolet after work today, and I'll get the sensor number from gm for my truck tire sensors. And I'll let you know if it works for me under Chevrolet!   And if that doesn't work, I'm going to guess that what @Atlas said about maybe I have a different body control module could be true!
    • From where I'm sitting this sounds like a compatibility problem. I'm assuming the 2007 was a 900-series truck, and not an 800-series (they were sold side-by-side in dealerships that model year), since it starts and runs.   This is why I HATE post-2006 vehicles. Everything becomes a huge problem when you try to keep the thing running for longer than the manufacturer has designed it to.    I can't remember when Global-A architecture started - either '10 or '11. For your sake, you had better hope it's '11, or you're going to be spending some BIG money to correct this cluster-eff. That's something you need to find out before doing anything else. You may have several computers bricked ... but the fact that it runs tells me you MIGHT be ok here.     EDIT: Just did a quick refresher. You're screwed. This is Global-A. The 2 systems are NOT compatible in the slightest. Once you get the correct engine in there that IS compatible, you're going to need to see how many computers are locked. Absolute NIGHTMARE to straighten out, too. Your buddy might be better off cutting his losses and finding something else.   Welcome to post-2006 vehicle electronics. This is why I quit the industry, and drive nothing built after 1994. This stuff takes all the fun out of wrenching!

    • True, hard to say what differences there may or may not be between Chev and GM as well as a production year or mid year part change either.    I just found it odd that under the Sierra choice on the Autel that many of the last few years of production year did not include the choice of changing the tire pressure but if that is an Autel thing or a GM thing as to why the choices were not there. Knowing what tpms sensors are on the truck should give some guidance into which choices on the tool even make sense to try as I wouldn't give up just yet with the tool but I guess he will see what if anything he comes up with if he finds out a bit more info and tries a few more things on the Autel.
