From what I can make out (sort of) it seems to have some Canyon going on in the design.  So a DRL signature at the top, the headlight is just above the bumper, the fog light is that next lower lamp you can see there next to that black patch on the corner of the bumper.

Also in that closer side shot with the driver visible, the GMC fender badge with the trim/engine appears to be no longer.  Looks like a "clean" fender.  If you look up at the hood though, its got a little domed bit there like the Silverado HD does.  That trim/engine ID badge seems to be moving to that spot.

2023 GMC Canyon Review

A camouflaged next-generation 2027 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali crew cab prototype driving on a public road, featuring aggressive, chiseled fender flares, a wide hood bulge, and an exposed horizontal slat grille.

The interior - I don't like what appears to be two screens so close together, I would prefer it to be one larger clean design, similar to some Buicks.

The "Diesel" sticker on the steering wheel says the 3.0 will probably be a part of the next generation. That's good, I think? (If they've fixed the thrust bearing issues)

Not a fan of the new cluster layout where it looks like you're staring down at a computer monitor. Much prefer the inset and shrouded screen of the <2027 trucks.

I'm not sure what the hang tag is regarding the physical key usage. Is that for a fleet or police model?

Nothing about the 2027's so far makes me wish I would have waited for one.

From the spy shots, the front end does look like it's borrowing some styling cues from the Canyon. I'm more interested in the powertrain news than the screens though. If the 3.0 diesel survives into the next generation, that alone will keep a lot of current owners interested.
