2025_Chevrolet_Traverse_Review_05.jpg

Hey everyone, we just wrapped up a week testing the new Traverse Z71 out here in the New Hampshire slop. I really wanted to see if Chevy actually built a legit, winter-capable SUV this time around, or if they just slapped some all-terrain tires on a minivan.

We put the new twin-clutch AWD through its paces on deeply rutted dirt roads, tested out the cabin tech on 10-degree mornings, and got some hard, real-world MPG numbers on the new 2.5L turbo to compare against the old 3.6L V6. You can check out my full, honest breakdown on the homepage here: https://www.gm-trucks.com/tested-chevy-traverse-z71-mud-season-review/

For those of you who already have a new Traverse in the driveway—are you seeing the same fuel economy numbers I did? Let's discuss it below!
