Hey guys im looking to put disk brakes on my 66 chevy. its a half ton 2 wheel drive pickup, i was wondering what other newer chev's that have disk brakes will interchange. if you have any info gimme a post!

That might be tough.

I had a '65 years ago that I converted to disc and power steering. I used the front clip off of a '74 van. The whole front clip bolted right up.

I also put a '76 GMC front end (a-arms, spindles, rotors, brakes+crossmember) in my '61 years ago. It had 5 bolt rotors so I got a rear end out of a '72 with coil rear and 5 bolt axles and bolted it in as well. I don't think you will find anything that will just bolt in like this will with the 6 bolt pattern. If you do please post the info.

There are several suppliers that offer 6 lug disc brake components and complete bolt on kits for older drum brake GM trucks. Here is one example.

 

I still need to do this to my 68 GMC as well. I cannot change to 5 lugs as my rear axle is a rare 6 lug semi-floating Dana 60 and no 5 lug rear axle shafts exist. I really do not want to buy wheels either. Drum brakes on all 4 corners really sux.
