I'd say...Whichever you like more would be the best choice.

But you're on a GM board, so I say...Get the Chevy.

If you have dark hair, use lots of hair gel, wear golf shirts, oakly sunglasses, like to put stickers all over your back windows, and pretend you need a truck but never really use it for work, (oh except hauling flowers home from the nursery) buy the dakota. If you want a real full size truck with plenty of power buy the Chevy.

thank you, i like your comment lol, that is totally true, i will most likely go witht he silverado, it has a 4.3 though  but it shoudl have good power :banghead: and people tell me that there pretty reliable, is this true? and what mileage do these things usually die around if taken care of?

4.3L is a very old motor so you won't need to worry about getting the bugs out of it. When very well cared for, nothing should fail, but steering intermediate shafts, tailgate cables, push button 4 wheel drive switch, power window regulators, wheel speeed sensors and burnt out bulbs seem to be the most common gremlins. Of those the 4 wheel drive switch and burnt out bulbs are the only issues I have had.

thanks, i stand corrected, it is a 2004 i think, its the body style, it is so nice, it has about 120k on it? weird but it runs great, i think it was on highway constantly, its black and has shiny rims and i love it
