Looking for a tailgate lock. I've found two...

Which one does everyone prefer? I think I prefer the bully tailgate lock just because it looks cleaner. What about everyone else?

I have the pop a lock. It's made of hefty steel. The pop a lock logo is just a sticker that comes off. Plain black, unnoticable except for the key cylinder which is chrome or stainless steel. The steel covers most of the plastic bezel so it will be more difficult to break compared to the plastic bezel. The bullydog one just looked like a new plastic bezel with a keyed cylinder lock in the middle. Looks easier to break the bezel and unlock the bed that way.

Why not get the invisible one that integrates with your electric lock system? It's a solenoid that mounts inside the tailgate and locks the tailgate when the cab doors are locked, and the thief can't tell...

Sure looks exactly like my pop n lock except I only paid $32 and got a removable pop n lock sticker FREE.

 

Those will only keep out honest thieves. I think it could be broken easy if someone wants in. But it would be easier to cut my access soft cover.

If you have electric door locks those are a good choice, some find them loud though, but it lets you know the it's locked.

Thank you all for the tips. It appears there is really no winner out of the group, i'm unsure which i'll choose but I imagine they all do about the same job.

 

And like someone else said, if someone wants in, they are going to get in anyways, it's mainly just a deterent.
