Do Brush Guards Weight Down Front End Too Much?

I am shopping for either a new black powdercoated bull bar or brush guard. I'd like to be able to mount a nice set of off-road lights on it. Are some of these brush guards super-heavy to the point where it weights the front end down too much?

My mom had some sort of a ram bar on her truck 10 years ago and she said that I would like it up to the point when the front of my truck was heavier than the rear. Is this a concern with current products? Aren't these only like 60 pounds?

My grill guard isnt that heavy. I can remove it and put it back on myself. I want to say it isnt over 50lbs. its a gorhino

I also have the go rhino brush guard, I did notice a slight difference in handling after install, but not enough to make it unpleasant...

I have a go rhino grill guard on my 99 silverado and i didnt notice that the front end was sagging until i changed my shocks a couple weeks ago. I changed to bilstein hds and now it sits about 1.5 inches higher in the front. But i havent had an problems with it at all. And it looks amazing on the 99-02 silverados!!

How does changing the shocks raise a truck 1-1/2 " ???? They must be some SUPER gas charged lifting shocks, lol.

Well the shocks that i did have were factory and they were shot and they were sagging so much. Thats why it raised it 1.5 inches. Ya they are awsome shocks ask anyone that has the bilstein hds.
