Newbie from Holland

Hi,

 

I already introduced myself (most of all, my rides) on Pics from Holland...

 

But to properly introduce myself:

 

I am Marcel, a 41 year old network/firewall engineer from the Netherlands and a American cars enthousiast.

 

On old cars, I'm a DIY-er. I did the restoration of my '65 Mustang (except for the paint job) and maintain all my vehicles where possible.

I allready have found out that the younger the car, the harder it is to keep this up.

Here in Holland we have lots of American car owners clubs and my friends and I visit some meetings from time to time. Two of my friends recently went to the SEMA show and had a great time in the US.

 

In a few years, my son (when I think he's old enough) and I will visit the States and we'll check out all the car-shows and part shops.

 

From time to time, I will check this forum and post a topic or 2.
