that prediction was done by a college student in 1990 or so cuz the orginal guy died in 1500 something (the full version said 1600 something) and he wrote it for a paper to show how stupid and easy it is to write things like that, it was on the radio this morning.

The acutal prophecies that may refer to New York are contained in a few different Quatrains

At forty-five degrees, the sky will burn,

Fire approaches the great new city,

Fires from the center of the earth would refer to volcanoes...

I might also add that most of the prophecies that are said to have come true are actually due to translators making the translation fit the outcome.

I dont THINK that we had man sized locusts devour most of the world in 1988, but maybe I am just getting fuzzy in my old age....

He also predicted the USS AMERICA (A ship bearing its countries name) will be destroyed, the time for that has come and gone. Ex-America has been decommissioned and sits in mothballs. My brother-in-law was stationed aboard her during that cruise. My sister was a wreak for 6 months. That stuff is silly if you ask me.
