Any suggestions?

I take it, it is a 2WD (if not my apologies) ... well I would get some wheels n tires to widen the stance some and to give it more of an agressive look, similar to the older model SS's. Go with grille inserts, carbon-fiber altezza's in the rear, need a tonneau cover of some sorts, HID - simulated bulbs up front, MSD ignition, get a cold air intake filter setup, there are more things, but I think that's enough for now. ;)

Whats up man.  I already have a UPD Intake and LS1Edit.  Im thinking about getting some DJM 2 inch drop shackles for the rear.  Level it out and maybe it will look a bit better.  Wheels ay come in the near future.  I like Weld Evo's, what other wheels have some people used?

Are you fond of the side molding?  If not, I would remove it.

Goodmark Cowl induction hood.

The Other Guys headers.

Loud exhaust.  Have the Cat's removed, they muffel sound.  Then get some badass rims and tough 30-32 inch tires, like MTR's or bfg Mud's.  I like the cowl induction hood idea.  Oh and a easton posi for the rear so you can do real smoke shows, not just 1 wheel peels!  :D

I would keep the body side molding but get rid of all the other badging. A painted to match bed cover would look pretty sweet. I think then I would do some exhaust work. If you are going to tow with the truck then skip the duels out of the back look. After that I would look at some painted door handles. If you haul anything then a quality spray in bed liner should be a priorty. Hope this helps.

I already took the badges off the tailgate.  It was a pain in the arse to wax around them and it looks cleaner with them gone.  I guess I can take the 1500 badges off too, the side moulding doesnt bother me too much.  Im just glad its the color of the truck and not black.  I checked out some Weld Evos Axis wheels today, almost 800 per wheel.   :D   Not including tires..  That may have to wait for a while.  I like the idea of painted handles.  How well does the paint stay on them anyway??

I agree with the "1500" and "LS/LT" emblems removed.

Painted to match door and tailgate handles, and possibly the bumper covers and grille,

or, a Tahoe/Suburban grille.

Nice looking truck, I like the stance.  :D

jump right to a djm 4/6 and skip the 2/4  you'll save money... everyone we know that has bought the 2/4 has wanted to go longer after time and went to the 4/6

also get a sir mikes weld in rollpan and shave the tailgate, and maybe throw some escalade exterior and interior handles on

paint every possible thing you can to match the body color

judging by the color of the truck, i'd say ditch the carbon fiber tails, and definately dont get Altezza Euros, but rather smoke 'em out.  Make them dark.  ####, if you can, make them as black as legally possible.  It would look REALLY tight.  I'm concidering doing that to my 'hoe.  And even if you dont think its a good idea, DEFINATLY take off the body moldings.  It makes such a huge difference in apearence.  Can you imagine LarryE's if it had those on?  It wouldnt look good.  DEFINATLY STRIP EM.

In the body shop business you get what you pay for, less you have a buddy.  Look for someone whose done work for other people.  If you like their work go for it.  I've found that around my area dealership painters suck.  Just another case of not what you know but who you know.
