At least there's still a chance of a solution. They could've told us to go pound sand. Summer sucks but it's not really that far away.

Oh I HOPE they do someting. It took me almost an hour to get all the cat hair off of the seats in my truck. I dont know how you guys with pets do it! I can wait till summer, I want this fixed!!!!

I think I have found my solution for this problem

I've hooked up with a Katzkin dealer out of Lubbock, Texas, and I can get a two row set of leather Katzkins for around $570 shipped. That includes a second color insert. I'm looking at dark graphite with red inserts and red stitching. Probably going to order next week. Local shop here wants $1500 with installation and won't sell without installation.

Dealer called me today. GM will not pop for leather, with me paying the difference. He also indicated the GM Rep told him it would be sometime this summer before replacements are available. If true, that's outrageous.

Got the info on that dealer?

did the lint roller dance tonight on my nbs. it's a twice a week ritual..

it is just a funny thing, on my 04 silverado parked right next to this 07, the last time i NEEDED to clean the lint off my seats was, hmm... i cannot remember! Maybe over atleast a month or even two, hard to remember, not like my lint collector edition nbs.

Well guys I just talked to our GM service rep.,Theres still nothing out yet,He said he gets three to four calls a week on this and is hoping for a solution just as quick as the rest of us are.

get this... my buddy thought it was just me making up a lint story about my truck. so we decided to trade trucks for a week to see how i like his 07 tundra 5.7l compared to my 07 5.3l silverado. well, it is 4 days into it, and he wants to trade back LOL. he said my trucks rides a lot better and handles better than his tundra. Now get this, he also saw the lint problem, now i definately know it is not just me or us chevy silverado drivers on this site. his wife told him to give it back or clean his clothes himself. poor guy.hahaha

i think he is right though, i do like how the silverado rides so smooth compared to his tundra, the seats are more comfortable in the silverado also. i do wish they would use the cloth interior out of the tundra for the silverado though as i did not see any lint at all while i had that tundra.

so, here is back to my lint collector silverado, -- here here!

I also have a neighbor with an '07 Tundra and I would never trade for a week. For a ride around the block? Maybe, that's about it. I'd be worrying too much about door dents.

nope..lol..never loaned out the wife, yet! lol

we both take care of our vehicles. was not a worry to trade for a week.
