Changing The Nuber Of Auto Blinks From Three To Five?

When you press down on the turn signal lever for just a second it blinks three times. In tow haul mode it blinks five times. Any way to make it blink five times when you aren't in tow haul?

Oh thats crazy talk?? The NBS chevys I ve ridden in didnt have a set amount of clicks. They stop when you finish turning and the lever goes back to its normal spot

No, he is referring to the lane change feature. You press down, but not far enough to "click" it on, then release. try it! :D

No, he means pushing it without it staying down. I think its supposed to be for changing lanes. I dunno if you can change it, but if ya find out, let us know!

Yeah its called "three clicks to pass" or something like that. Its when you push the stalk down, but not far enough to let it lock. and then you release it.

I suppose you could tap it a second time. I guess that would give you six blinks though... one too many. :D

Or press it the second time after the second blink from the first! Or turn on tow haul mode for a second prior. Or just live with three.

I am so used to it, now when I drive my wife's car, I press and release and only get one quick blink. :fume:

Same here. I think it's the best "new" feature to coma along in years... you can keep traction control and 47 airbags, just give me my damn three flashes.

Every time I drive something else it sucks now. Thanks GM. :D

I think I like the automatic wipers better. But, yeah, the automatic 3-blinks thing is pretty neat. The first time or two I did it, I thought something messed-up. "Why did it keep blinking, after I let go?" I finally figured out the pattern to "make" it do that and realized it was an actual feature and not a "feature" (in programming terms, I mean - *ahem*).

At first I found the three flashes to be annoying, but now I agree with you guys... it is a really nice feature.

+1 for GM on that one!
