i've mixed vodka and diet coke in a pinch. tasted like a mouthful of old coins with a hint of ass. but hey whatever works right?

That does sound bad, although I just bought a bottle of vanilla flavored "Cupcake" vodka...it was $5, only reason I picked it up. It's like paint thinner with icing on top while going down...a chaser is a must.
