Wanted to say hello to everyone. I have a 2004 Silverado Z71. I am a member of another site for Camaro's called Camarosource. My now 18 yr old son has a 1989 RS Camaro that I rebuilt the motor for and he is slowly fixing up. I found this site as I was researching the dreaded front differential problem that these trucks have. I have ordered the GM Service manual and am in the process of taking the Front Differential out and rebuiling it. I will try to take pics of the rebuild process and post for the many that are going to encounter what I would call a major design flaw. .I have always been a GM guy but I am not happy in the way GM has tried to sweep this problem under the rug. I will try to help those that I can and hope to be helped when needed. Thanks for the time and take care.
