I Raced For The First Time Yesterday

I raced a Hemi yesterday on the way home from work. I beat him and he let off, but I didn't. I did, however, find my governor. I didnt know that it is set at 95 mph. I'm not proud of the fact that I raced on a street, but I know the street, its straight, minimal traffic and 3 lanes wide each way. I am not happy that I can only hit 95, looks like my tune will be coming sooner that I anticipated.

Actually I am, but I'm gonna keep it to the track. After my tune though.

Whew! Good thing there weren't any cops around...otherwise it would've been a very expensive win. Be careful...

Oh yeah, I have a radar jammer/detector. Plus I really know that street, I drive it at least 4 times a day. But I won't be doing it again, that's for sure.

Sometimes the winner on the street is the guy foolish enough to go that fast, not always a measure of which vehicle is quicker. If you reran it at a track, I think the hemi would surprise you.

Also depends on how good the driver is. If the driver sucks, then having a big powerful vehicle isn't going to help much.
