Silverado_Monkey Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 Hey Guys - After scouring the net for months, the misses and I were finally able this past weekend to find and buy a Silverado Powerwheels for the my son. I started looking around even before he was born, since Fisher-price decided to discontinue the Silverado and introduce the F-150 last year. I can't buy it new. We drove over an hour on Saturday to pick it up, and I spend most of the day yesterday tearing it down, modifying it and get it ready for paint. The plan is to make it a "mini- me" silverado. What do you guys think? Here's the before shot: (He already threw a fit when we took him out of it)
Silverado_Monkey Posted April 7, 2009 Author Posted April 7, 2009 And here's a couple of pics of what it looks like now:
pennzoil29 Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 Hell, I'd be pissed to if you took me out of it, and then tore it apart.

VMax2007 Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 Oh BTW - Here's a cool video I think you guys will get a kick out of: Badass!!! I wish my truck would do that. That poor kid is going to be in trouble when he gets a real car/truck someday. He had better learn to build a tranny/rear end first....and get a good job to pay for tires and alot of tickets.

HAHA.... Hmm... Maybe I should rethink this whole thing... NAH! I just wish I had one of these things growing up! My dad made me a car but I had to push the damn thing up the hill, and it was made out 3/4 plywood. It was heavy as hell!
Nick The Great Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 Gotta love the RCSB trucks! And good job on the debadging. The fellas here will be proud of you.
