What Products Do You Use?

I'm just curious what car care products everyone else is using. I've been using Meguiar's products for years and they all work really well for me, so generally use nothing but.

I've used many different brands of products over the years and these are what I've found works best for me. So what do you use?

•Car Wash = Poorboys

•Wax = Poorboys Natty paste Wax (just started using this and it is great)

•Polish - Poorboys Polish and EX-P

•Tire Dressing = Stoners Tire Gloss

•Scratch Remover = Poorboys 1 and 2.5

•Glass Cleaner = Stoner Invisible Glass

•Interior Protectant = ICE

•Exterior Trim = Back to Black

•Glass Treatment = Rain-X Original

  • Car Wash = Whatever is $4 at the store and I always use the wash mits I have
  • Wax = Mothers Reflections
  • Top Coat = Mothers Reflections Top Coat (leaves a super slick finish)
  • Wheel Cleaner = No dust wheel cleaner or whatever may be on sale.
  • Tire Dressing = Still trying to find one that works well (spray foam type)
  • Scratch Remover = Meguires cleaner or 3M product available at store
  • Glass Cleaner = Autozone or Advance store brand
  • Interior Protectant = Turtle Wax ICE
  • Exterior Trim = none, or the ICE
  • Clay Bar = None
  • Glass Treatment = purple washer fluid bottle at WalMart with Rain X mixed in. Works way awesome at $1.50 a gallon. After a gallon through the system the water beads up and starts running right off.

On my motorcycle the No Dust cleaner is awesome on the wheels as well as Simple Green. Rest of the bike gets cleaned with spray detailer and waxed and polished once a year.

I used the Reflections on my 2005 Cadillac CTS and the paint looked so great I threw everything else I had away and will buy nothing but Mothers from now on. Its was the easiest to use IMO.

Another vote for the Meguiars Gold Class car wash. Best car wash soap I have ever used. I use Meguiars waxes as well. I use the wheel cleaner in the purple spray bottle, can't remember the name of it though. I use an aerosol style spray product called Lifter for carpet stains, that stuff is amazing.

Trying the trim restorer this week or next. I started to get some lightening of the black and I'm looking for something to make it darker. Might try Back2Black if I'm not happy with this.

I really like the poor boys wheel sealant. It goes on real easy. I put several coats on. It doesn't last all that long but it keeps brake dust from staining the chrome and it washes off with car wash. I put a few coats on every few couple months or so. I also put a few coats when I store my winter/summer rims.

I am a big Duragloss fan.

901 Car Wash

105 Total Performance Polish

265 Fast n Shine detail spray

Aquawax spray wax in between

Bumper and Trim treatment for black plastic trim

Plastic Polish for headlights

Leather cleaner and treatment for seats (the best leather treatment I have found)

Tire Shine

Vinyl Treatment on dash and other plastic/vinyl

Their glass cleaner is pretty weak though. I use Spray a Way for the windows.

I like the Meguiar's stuff too. Lots of fine products mentioned already in this thread... some that I want to try now! :)
