Well the time had come to get rid of the truck and i had been looking around for awhile. I settled on a g8 gt and began to deal on one. About 10 days ago i picked up the new one. 09 Pontiac G8 gt black on black with sport and premium package. It's my first new car so I'm excited to get to take care of it the way i want from day 1. Here's a pic that i took about a week ago, I'll post more pics sometime soon so you guys can see it better. (it was taken on a camera phone so)

It has a 6.0.

 

Only the GXP gets/got the 6.2.

Man, I really like those. For a family man, it's the sport sedan on the market. If you're not looking to spend over 40k and still get some decent performance, it's amazing. Lingenfelter, for 10k, will bump that baby up to 505 BHP. So, for 42k or 43k, you're in the same price bracket as the SRT8 Charger but wtih 100 more ponies. There is an interesting article about it in the April "Car and Driver" on page 80.
