A 2.5 in. might fit them with a little bit of valence rub, key word might. A 305/70 is a tall tire. Something like 33-34" IIRC.

yes they are 33.8 its the only size maxxis buckshot mudders make for 17in

can i get some tire suggestions. i want some 33s that arent super expensive. and are aggresive. that will fit for 17s on a 2-3in lift. no more

If your only going to install a leveling kit I would say no. They might "fit" but it won't be a good fit. They will probably rub alot. Especially considering they are on aftermarket wheels. I know every truck is different but I know of multiple people that have 285/70/17 mud tires on AFTERMARKET wheels along with their T-bars cranked and there is rubbing. Mostly just in reverse at full lock. I would say your best bet is to stick with a 285 unless you want to do alot of trimming...just my .02

your truck is going to ride like a dump truck with the torsion bars cranked up 2.5".

keep it under 2" and go with 285/70/17s. Or throw on a 2" body lift on top of 1.5-2" crank (leveling kit) to run the 305s.... thatd be a good combo

I ran 305/55/20's on my 03 1500 HD with aftermarket 20x9's. With a 2" crank and some "fender massaging" I ran them fairly comfortably but they still rubbed every now and then. Keep in mind the HD's sit 2-3 inches higher than the standard half ton.

Matt nailed it. Cranking your t-bars that high is not a good idea. Quality leveling kit and 285's are your best bet. If you want bigger tires than that just do a BL or full suspension lift.
