Recommended Posts

Well I need some help guys ..... I have a 07 Yukon the rear went out in ..... 373 gears. The price for a 2006 rear is 350 bucks the price for a 2007 is 1000 ... can I use the 06 rear in my 07 model. I know the body style changed but should that make a difference.

I think the rear brakes changed from 2006 & 2007. 2 different body styles, 2 different platforms. You can email

And ask if the axle is compatible; at the same time continue searching the web. You are looking for "NBS rear axle compared to NNBS rear axle"

You should really be looking for a donor axle from a 2007-2013 Silverado/Sierra/Tahoe/Yukon. i don't think the 2006 will work. You should be able to find another axle for cheap online with free shipping. I see 2007+ rear axles in Craigslist all the time. You may just have to drive 100 miles to go pick it up. I don't think you are exploring all of your options.
