Finished my paint Protection wrap using 3m pro series matte film. Then had the new wheels installed today. Sent from my SM-T813 using Tapatalk4 points

Did it a few months ago. It’s subtle to say the least, but in the right light it pops.3 points

The rails are not true rock rails, the mount to the body like any other step. The metal does seem thick enough to offer some protection. They stick out pretty good but mount up close to the body with a very small gap. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

I just got an email from the NHTSA asking for more detail, pictures, etc. It said they'd be raising the issue with GM at a meeting next month and asked that I send back a reply authorizing them to share my contact information, VIN number, details of the failure, etc. Hopefully something comes from it... EDIT: In my complaint I linked this thread so they could see that it is at least a somewhat common problem.2 points

Picked up my Sierra last week, so decided to see what we could fit on it today. Installed the rough country 2” level and a set of fuel gripper m/t’s In a 35x12.50. After some trimming of mud flaps, removing bracket behind fender liner, and tying the fender liner back. Rubbing is gone. So if you’re not scared to trim some plastic it can be done. I think it looks good, let me know what you think. I knew worked on at4, couldn’t find anyone to confirm if would fit a standard level.1 point

This is true... here in California the only areas we usually have that issue is in the mountains, where Sirius signals get blocked by the trees... and the mountains. If you are paying more than about $6 a month, you are overpaying. All you need to do is try to cancel to get it for around $50 a year. I did that for like 8 years.1 point

Hi. I’m new to the form. I have a 2019 gmc 2500hd with the dpn tow mirrors and would like to upgrade to the gm oem dqs tow mirrors. The dpn mirrors have heat, turn signals, running, and cargo lights. Would I need to replace the door harness? I know I need to add a power fold switch. Any help would be appreciated.1 point

Thank you for your service!! Uniden had a CB that included a scanner and radar detector incorporated into the unit, but it was running over $400. I really don’t have any use for the Sideband right now, but it’s nice to have in case I need it in the future. I may visit the scanner issue in the future, but I’m looking to get a front / rear dash cam next. Seeing how society seems to be headed in the wrong direction. So the scanner will have to wait for now.1 point

Looks good, fits the trim level well, wouldn't make sense on a High Country but, the Trailboss is kinda in your face so it goes well with that...1 point

Just purchased a 2018 Sierra 4wd. Love the truck! Currently only at 388 miles. It’s a year old and while sitting at the dealer it was rarely test driven. i came out of a 2007 F-150 reg cab/SB/V-6. It pulled the camper, but with little to no power. I knew that this truck would obviously tow it much better, but blown away by how much so. Two thumbs up for the factory brake controller.1 point

I know people are probably tired of me posting pics of my truck but I thought you guys might think this edit a guy on Instagram did for me was as funny as I did. Normally 9.5 lift, crew cab 6ft bed on 22x12’s with a few mods turned into basically an adult hot wheel. Haha1 point

I discovered that if you leave the the turn signal on for a few minutes on the highway the dash display tells you to turn it off. Simple but nifty. 2019 Sierra Denali1 point

I know I’ve posted my truck but I’m sitting here scrolling though the site with my little human and she told me to show her “tall truck” because it’s like all these nice trucks. Haha This was her Christmas present this past December unfortunately it’s a GMC and not a Chevy lol but I took the black Denali and completely disassembled and prepped it and my good friend Anthony color matched it and then I fab’d a mini 7 inch lift kit for it and hit it with a close candy. Did the same with the custom wheels and tires. She thinks she’s pretty slick and it’s actually pretty quick for battery power and it’s see’s a lot of off road time in the front yard. Hahaha1 point

Just bought my first truck, have had older jeeps and some suv's but being a single dad with sole custody of my 7 year old daughter and a truck was always just out of reach for me in cost. I bought a 2018 Silverado K1500 LT. I bought it with 27k on it, so it was driven a lot in a year and a half the previous owner had it, but that made it affordable, picked it up for $24,200 which I thought was a good deal so I jumped on it. Recently went from a 38 mile commute to 10 mile commute for work, each way, so figured if not now then never. Nothing special on the truck, it has the bigger infotainment screen, a leather wrapped steering wheel, upgraded interior and cloth seats. I'd like to put bigger tires on it, but not sure how big I can go on the current rims with out lifting it.1 point
