Did you really mean km/l or are the numbers L/100 km? Centramatics are also used by some in the touring motorcycle world. Dyna Beads (and others) is another style of balancing product - beads installed in tire, instead of installing a centramatics style ring.

Sometimes powering down and restarting the phone will cure Bt or AA or Carplay issues....

If you're accelerating and decelerating a lot, you'll use more fuel with it active -- because it will reduce the amount the truck coasts (slow you faster) so there will be more 'accelerating' required to get back up to speed. Steady speeds, it doesn't make any difference.

Press the switch to turn the cargo lamp on or off. An indicator light will turn on when the lamp is turned on, if equipped. The shift lever must be in P (Park) to operate the cargo lamp. The lights on the outside rear view mirrors turn on if the shift lever is in R (Reverse), N (Neutral), or P (Park). (so if cargo lamp button is on AND its in R/N/P the mirror lights should work.) Window remote control is DOWN only. If equipped with auto mirror folding, pressing and holding'unlock' for one second will unfold the mirrors. Could be. On my 18 it's at the top, but they could have move it in the new body style. There is a screen in AA that will give the temp (possibly from phone rather than truck?) but I'm in agreement that temp is one of those things that would be nice to have available, anytime, at a glance.

Kinda depends if it's a 'Custom Trail Boss', or a 'LT Trail Boss'. They have different starting places in the line-up. Work Truck, Silverado Custom, Silverado Custom Trail Boss, LT, RST, LT Trail Boss, LTZ, High Country AT4 slots between SLT and Denali Sierra, SLE, Elevation Double Cab, SLT, AT4, Denali Crew Cab

Seems then that AA should not take over that top strip on the screen where the temp/compass info is located. (the other 95% of the screen should be enough to display the phone projection - imho)

Aren't the ambient temp and compass direction on the audio display? I haven't seen mirror with temp and compass since my 2011. Tailgate camera, temp and compass have always been on radio (which of course gives a much larger camera display) on later ones I'm familiar with. I've been assuming the new for 19 body style would continue to have those features in the audio rather than the mirror. 2019 silverado - auto dimming is standard only on LTZ and HC. IMHO, max tow rides smoother than Z71. But part 2 is that 18" tires will ride better than 20's. The outside diameter of the 18 and 20's that the factory uses are the same -- therefore, shorter stiffer sidewalls on the 20's. I had heard this and thought it was exaggerated til I had a purchased a set of 18" wheels/tires to replace the 20's on a 1500 for the winter. All depends what you're after. The stiffer 20's also gave slightly better fuel economy (was running the same 100 mile round trip daily for a couple weeks either side of when they were switched) and slightly 'sportier' handling. If I was getting another one it would have 18's and not 20's. For the same reason my current HD has the optional 18's instead of the 20's that were included withe the 2500 Denali package.

Did you load a 'QR code reader' on your phone and have it read the square on the label?

Back in the day it was sometimes the switch on trans gear shifter not detecting it was in park or neutral. Wiggling the shifter while holding the key would sometimes do it.

They've been like that on Canadian ones for many years. I've learned to live with it. A vehicle without daytime running lights looks unusual around here now. And of course the auto function will switch the daytime running light to regular headlights and taillights when the light sensor detects dusk (or inside a tunnel) I've heard that the switch can be taken apart and the spring removed so that the knob will stay in the 'off' position. Could probably also by the US knob from a dealer or parts house.

Not the solution you're looking for, but GM has had the 'double-handle-pull' method for a long time. Pull the door handle once to unlock the door. Pull again to open the door. It will also work on non-driver doors passengers to get out when truck is still in gear.

GM still recommends avoiding biodiesel in cold temperatures. 2018 Diesel Supplement Biodiesel section says: "At temperatures below 32 °F (0 °C), it is recommended to switch to Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel fuel with no biodiesel content, or to blends with biodiesel containing less than 5% by volume. At these extreme cold temperatures, biodiesel blends higher than 5% by volume may cause fuel filter plugging and system gelling, which can lead to vehicle operability problems." In warm weather, biodiesel blends need to be 20% or lower.

GM accessories has a 5th wheel package that is aftermarket style, rather than using the factory prep system. Don't think they offer the factory version as a 'kit'. A good parts department person at a dealer should be able to help you order the parts needed to do it yourself. Seems like it would be a big project to 'home'. I think if I really wanted the system I'd find or order a truck with it on.

Assuming it was completely full at delivery (zero miles, for easier math) and took 4 gallons at 4200 miles, then it's getting just about 1050 miles per gallon of def. So with 3 gallons remaining, it still had 3000 miles til empty. Best to think of it a a DEF 'level indicator' rather than a gauge. (since it's not very accurate) I don't view the 30% message as a warning. That's just the level that the 'OK message' is no longer displayed and the message displays an 'indication' of how much is left. The first 'warning' is '1000 mile def range' is reached. From 300 mile range and less, it should give an 'xyz range remaining' message at every ignition cycle. If it gets to 0 remaining, it will then start warnings of distance to escalating speed limitation. From zero def remaining, another 500 miles til limited to 65 mph From 65 mph limit another 75 miles to 55 mph From 55 mph limit another 75 miles to 5 mph limit With 3000 miles til empty and then 500 miles til speed limit -- then there was about 3500 miles til speed limit. FWIW, it's not necessary to 'completely fill the def tank each time DEF is added. Nothing wrong with just adding a 2.5 jug each time. When filling and the sound changes, it's time to stop (sorta like sound change when filling fuel). Mines a little short of 13,000 miles. Shows 20% on indicator. The only time I've added def was about 6500 miles. It had given the 1000 mile warning at about 22%, so a little surprised I haven't seen it yet this time. It gets parked on a slope, sometimes nose up and sometimes down -- maybe that messes with the level indicator. Planning to wait til 300 miles warning.

I get OP's reason too, but the other side is it's an excellent feature for 'cool-down' purposes when working one hard. They are promoting similar as a 'cool-down' feature on 2020HD dmax update... but it will only run for whatever time is necessary to obtain target cool-down temps.

That was GM's argument when they were discussing the 2019 1500's with a TFL guy in the video TFL put out. I have mixed feelings about push button, but leave the shifter where it is!

There are winter diesel blends that can prevent it. Obviously that's not what was in the loaner. Normal diesel is #2. #1 has a much lower gell point, but also has less BTU's per gallon so mileage is worse. Require more refining, so price isn't reduced -- hence #2 is used where and when possible. Some areas will get appropriate blends of #1 and #2. Some places have both available so you can make your own blend. Additives are also available that can lower the cloud point - and sometimes get on going that has gelled. Sometimes warming it back up is all that's needed. Sometimes new fuel filters are also necessary. There's lot's more to it, but that's sort of a summary.

The 11 and newer HD's generally have excellent brakes (in contrast with the prior gen chassis). I've had no noise from this on the previous LML. As posted above, I have seen other threads about unusually short brake life and pulling to one side. eventually determined that there were some calipers machined wrong resulting in not floating on pins correctly -- resulting in excessive wear on one pad. If you got a noisy one it might be a good idea to get it looked at. I'd expect it's not one of those 'gotta live with it' things.

It's pretty clear in the Order Guide that a 2019 1500 LTZ or HC should have had them included. They are an optional part with ZL6 on LT, RST and LT Trail Boss (1LT, 1SP and 2LT) trims. Sierra they come with SLT, AT4 and Denali trim. Available on SLE (3SA) and Elevation Double Cab (3SB) trims
