the only sleds that are mine are the two arctic cats. everybody on my block has at least two...

thats not to bad then. its a nice machine. one day if i ever get more money i wouldnt mind investing into those polaris four stroke turbo sled. I used to work at a honda dealer ship in a small town and they would usually let me take anything out i wanted and "test" it over the weekend or night. The four stroke was a nice one to handle. sure sounds cool when you get the turbo going.

 

i got a tank of a sled. 96 formula 3 600 triple. when it wants to work it hauls ass. but thats a rare occasion. right now iam just in the middle of fcuking around with the carbs trying to set them properly when ever i get the time or just when i get motivated enough haha.

Last year I bought a arctic cat Z1 1100 (non turbo). 4 stroke. It runs up to 100MPH and it very comfortable. It is also heavy but that s the future.

oh really? i didnt know artic cat had a 1100 4stroke. I dont follow up on sleds that often. the only ones i kinda know about are polaris. I would imagine you could find a turbo for that hey? probably wouldnt be cheap

 

When i was working at honda couple of mechanics there had 06 trx450r sport quads, just modded right up. the one guy bored out his engine. i cant remeber what he got it to. through high compression piston in it and a kick ass exhaust on it then he ended up putting a turbo on it. that was a scary friggn quad i tell you what haha.

The 1100 Z1 came out in 2007 and had a turbo and non turbo version. The turbo sled is 140MPH top speed. I ve had mine at almost 100 wide open and that fast enough. They run nice, it s more like a motorcycle with that engine. No more adding oil and the fuel mileage is better too.

Great sled. I have an 05 500ss, I'm sure you already know it's actually a 600cc engine. They are quilck out of the hole, will stay with some 800's to 65-70. They are clutched perfectly from the factory. Don't bother with a clutch kit. Bullet proof motor. One thing to look out for on the 500ss is carb boots. Mine were shot! Doo has a issue here. They crack, suck air and will take a motor out. Please check them! Kimpex makes a replacement for ~$50.
