Dic Problems

I been checking my DIC readings especially the tires PSI,i do at least 3-3 times a month.Does anyone have this problem.After checking on the dash my tires for front and back read diff,i inflate my tires to 35psi as prescribed.I have a very good or better then most gage pressure reading i inlate to 35 but the tires in rear read a couple psti lower on the DIC example front read 34 left 35 right the rear read 33 left 35 right my tire pressure in each tire using the accurr gage its 36 on all tires i checked numerious times.Anyone getting diff readings from the DICwhich supposed to be more accurate?? i tried to inflate tire more but the reading in the DIC only changes when i ride and heat the tire up i check all and inflated when all tires were cold any info would be appreciated

I've never heard that the DIC reading was more accurate than a gauge. I just use DIC readings to see if there has been a change from the last reading. Use a gauge wehn filling tires then use DIC to see if there are any changes until you next check with gauge. I think original intent of TPMS was to notify driver of low pressure not as a substitue for gauge.

Everybody knows DIC measurements are not going to be accurate....usually, they are overstated...

The DIC on my truck is fairly accurate (within a pound or two) but is really just a reminder more than a gauge. I have a very accurate dial type Snap-on gauge that I use when I really need to know for sure.

I've got expensive analog gages, electronic gages and gages that will speak to me and tell me what the air pressure is. Now as far as any DIC problems.... Oh never mind.

For the most part I think you can handle DIC problems with a little blue pill in the gas tank....

And I never trust TPMS. I've had too many problems with it to think it's even remotely accurate.

As long as he hasn't installed "The Clapper" on his DIC, he's probably doing just fine....
