Hello everybody. I've joined no too long ago, because I'm looking for some information about trucks and SUV's. I'm having some troulble trying to decide what to get. I want something that has 4WD, that can haul: dogs, furnature and tow a full size car trailer with a 4k pound car. I'm leaning more toward a Silverado or Sierra 2500HD diesel, my wife wants the Avalanche. If I was to get the Avalanche it would have to have the 6.0L engine.

I dont think they put the 6.0L in the Av. They no longer put it in the Silverado's (other than 2500's and hybrid)

no they made a 2500 avalanche. i have even seen a 8.1 avalanche before. they only made them in the old body style though

They did offer the 6.0 in the GMT900 Avalanche's from '07 to '09.
