Roscopcoletrain Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 (edited) Not the type of thing you want to post. Had a dumb moment. Was setting up in a rush/rain and didnt make sure my bars had clicked down into place. I Just dropped them in and setup. Well, we hit a slow right turn and pop, followed by a banging/grinding sound. Pulled over right away Other than some scuffing on the bars, no damage..besides my pride. Edited June 14, 2017 by Roscopcoletrain

Its always when something gets my out of my SOP that I forget something. We all learn things and we are fortunate when some Krylon will cover up our "learning experience" 2
SouthpawHD Posted June 20, 2017 Posted June 20, 2017 ^^^^ Looks like no harm, no foul. Just a learning lesson. And pretty sure we've all done something and have gotten lucky.... 5

Mschrump Posted June 27, 2017 Posted June 27, 2017 I haven't pulled it down the road yet. Just hooked it up in the driveway to see how it would set on the new truck. Not bad, but she's going to get some airbags anyways. 2

Not bad, but she's going to get some airbags anyways. I put bags on my '15 1500 CCSB. Towed my 36' TT with it. Made a world of difference. Of course I've since traded up to a 2500 Diesel, but the 1500 did an admirable job. Just a bit too much trailer really. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
