600 Cc Engine

Hey guys, my brother is in the Marine Corp, stationed in Okinawa Japan, and just recently bought a 1991 Suzuki Samurai Turbo, apparently 600 cc engine in it. I know this doesnt have to do with gm trucks, but i thought id ask you guys if you knew how much horsepower that amounts to.thanks!!

Well, with a turbo on it, it could easily put out at least 100 HP.

I had a gsxr600 and i think it was about 100hp. No turbo though.

A street turbo 600cc engine from 1991 probably doesn't have over 80 HP

My AC F7 is about 140hp, but thats a 2 stroke! Maybe 80 for the suzuki.

4 stroke turbo, my guess is between 100-120HP.

 

PS/ Just for comparison, a 2005 AC 660 Turbo(4 stroke) is 110HP.

Say a bike engine is 600cc and puts down 100 hp, the same engine in a car would loose horse power because of the drivetrain and having two wheels, correct? I mean it would "have" the same hp numbers but whats put to the pavement is different.

Sure but the weight to HP ratio is a even bigger factor.

Get a bunch of performance stickers and tell him to stick them on the vehicle, guaranteed 300 more HP.Or get a soy sauce or duck sauce injection in the intake, that'll bring her around.

also if you take your drill and drill holes all through it those are called speed holes. remember for every hole that is an extra 5hp

Or put dents all in it like a golf ball to increase high speed stability.
